Recovery Schedule
A revised schedule developed specifically to bring a delayed project back on track, showing the client a credible path to recovering lost time — through re-sequencing, additional resources, extended hours, or a combination of these.
Why it matters
Once a project is behind, simply reporting the delay isn’t enough — clients want to see a plan, whether that project is a mine infrastructure build, an offshore campaign running against a tight weather window, a utilities outage, or a commercial handover date. A credible recovery schedule needs to be realistic (padded, unachievable recovery plans damage trust fast) and needs to clearly show what’s changing and why the change actually recovers time, not just reshuffles the problem.
What's included in our deliverable
- Root-cause delay analysis to identify what actually needs to change
- A revised, logic-linked schedule showing the recovery strategy (resequencing, resource acceleration, extended shifts, fast-tracking)
- Quantified impact showing the recovered duration against the current forecast
- Client-ready narrative explaining the recovery approach
When to use it
As soon as a material delay is identified — the earlier a recovery plan is built, the more options are realistically available.
